Geelong Contemporary Art Prize

My painting ‘Restless Interactions’ has won the Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize. Run by the Bayside City Council, the $15,000 prize is awarded every year and the winning painting goes into the Bayside Art Gallery collection.
Spring 1883 looks a bit different this year. I have four works as a part of Daine Singer’s presentation which will be online through Artsy and in the gallery as a satellite exhibition from 18 – 28 August, restrictions allowing.
‘Circle Segments’ was recently a finalist in the Bayside Art Prize at the Bayside Art Gallery in Brighton.

The gallery will be open during normal hours with social distancing according to government regulations. There won’t be an exhibition opening celebration.

From 2–6 July Bus Projects will present its Editions Exhibition. I have donated two small works which are digital prints featuring source material and other selected bits and pieces from my studio.
I have a couple of never before seen glass paintings in a group exhibition at Daine Singer at the moment.

There are only a few weeks left of the Darebin Art Prize, in which my painting Outside the Inside is a finalist. The finalist exhibition is on at Bundoora Homestead until 4th March 2018.

My painting Bending Stem Over Valley is this year a finalist in the inaugural Bruny Island Art Prize.

I have some new work in Spring 1883 with Daine Singer, at Establishment Hotel in Sydney. The fair is open to the public from 10 – 12 September 2015.
Still Life has been selected as a finalist in the 2015 City of Albany Art Prize in Western Australia. The exhibition runs from 4 September to 11 October 2015 at the Vacouver Arts Centre.
I have work in a NETS touring exhibition curated by Claire Anna Watson and alongside work by Boe-lin Bastian, Simon Finn, Bonnie Lane, Krtistin McIver, Kate Shaw and Paul Yore. Synthetica is coming to Counihan Gallery in Brunswick and opens on Thursday 14 May 6-8pm, running until 7 June.
I will be presenting new work as part of an exhibition, Atmosphere, at Linden New Art.
